U.S.68 / STATE ROUTE 15 INTERCHANGE

U.S.68 / STATE ROUTE 15 INTERCHANGE

The Maumee Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD), in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, completed improvements to the US-68/SR-15 interchange just south of the City of Findlay in Hancock County, Ohio. The purpose of this project was to connect TR-80 to US-68 in order to provide direct access from the residential areas west of US-68. This project was needed because TR-49 and TR-77, which currently provide access to/from the residential areas west of US-68 to US-68, will be removed as part of the proposed Eagle Creek Dry Storage Basin project. The Eagle Creek Dry Storage Basin project is included in the Flood-Risk Reduction Program currently underway by Hancock County, the City of Findlay and the MWCD.

80% of the project was funded federally with a 20% local match.  Construction was completed in November 2024.
